Prof. Dr. Kazım Beşirli; kalp ve damar cerrahisi alanında, özellikle aort hastalıkları, periferik damar hastalıkları, karotis cerrahisi, venöz hastalıklar ve endovasküler tedaviler konusunda uzun yıllara dayanan akademik ve klinik deneyime sahiptir.
İstanbul Üniversitesi Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi’nde uzun yıllar akademik ve idari görevlerde bulunmuş; hasta değerlendirmelerinde açık cerrahi, endovasküler yöntemler ve multidisipliner yaklaşımı birlikte ele alan bir tedavi anlayışı benimsemiştir.

Prof. Dr. Kazım Beşirli, kalp ve damar cerrahisi alanında uzun yıllara dayanan klinik ve akademik deneyime sahiptir. Özellikle kompleks aort hastalıkları, karotis damar hastalıkları, alt ekstremite damar hastalıkları, diyaliz damar erişim cerrahisi, venöz girişimler ve endovasküler tedaviler alanlarında çalışmalar yürütmüştür.
Klinik hizmetlerin planlanması ve yönetimi, uzmanlık eğitimi, hakemli bilimsel yayınlar ve tıbbi eğitim materyallerine katkılarıyla akademik ve klinik alanda önemli görevler üstlenmiştir.
